Program

As part of the Triennial of Small Sculptures, the work of individual artists will be presented in more detail in the solo exhibition in the Fellbach City Gallery. The curator of the 15th Triennial, Elke aus dem Moore, has chosen Nijolė Šivickas, who will also represent an artistic position in the Triennial. The significant oeuvre of the hitherto largely unknown Lithuanian artist is currently being rediscovered and attracting international attention. For the first time in Germany, early works from the Stuttgart period as well as representative works from her complete oeuvre will be shown. After being welcomed by the First Mayor Johannes Berner, Elke aus dem Moore introduces the work of the artist, who has a strong connection to Fellbach: During her student days, she lived in the Kappelberg city for a while.
